  • How does the system work?

The sensors placed in your tyres measure the temperature and pressure information of the tyres, the captured information is transmitted via radio signal to the reciever in your vehicle, which is transmitted to your phone via bluetooth.
This data is then processed by the App you have previously installed on your phone

  • What is the difference compared to competing offers?

Currently, there are no other solutions available in the market.
Some cars give tyre pressure, but this is not accompanied by specific advice or recommendations related to use (Road / Circuit, dry, humid or wet track conditions) and does not indicate how the vehicle behavior evolves depending on the pressure.

  • What is the difference compared to other applications usable on track days

The MICHELIN Track Connect's offering is not just an information display. In addition to the traditional data relating to the times that you establish on the track ... the MICHELIN Track Connect is your personal assistant during your time out on the track.

  • What are the different features of the system?

MICHELIN Track Connect is the first product able to advise anyone partaking in a trackday, before, during and after their driving sessions.

    • During the drive, it signals to the driver in real time where the tyres are located in relation to their optimal operating range, thanks to a very simple colour code and indicates how the change in the pressures influences the behavior of the vehicle via a gauge indicating over / understeer.
    • After the drive,
it allows the pressure and temperature data to be analyzed to make the necessary adjustments and improve on the next driving session
  • What is the kit comprised of?

  • What if the phone does not detect the receiver?

The first thing to check is that the phone's Bluetooth is turned on and the receiver is also turned on.To do this it must be connected to a power source. A flashing white light indicates that the receiver is turned on.
If the phones Bluetooth is activated, this type of malfunction can be explained by an un-pairing of the phone and the receiver. In this case, you must re-pair the phone and the box. To do this, start the App, go to the ''My Garage '' Menu, in the Receiver section, make sure the receiver is on and perform a scan of nearby bluetooth devices. For Auto mode, select the first tyre for which you want to declare the sensor. Left front dial for the left front tyre for example. Your ATEQ box is able to wake up the sensor inside the tyre, forcing it to identify itself. You have just activated the sensor present in the tyre on the front left of the vehicle. Do the same for the other 3 wheels and validate your configuration.
For Manual mode, select the first tyre for which you want to active the sensor. Left front dial for the left front tyre for example. Deflate the tyre until the sensor inside the tyre wakes up and identifies itself. You have just activated the sensor present in the tyre on the front left of the vehicle. Do the same for the other 3 wheels and validate your configuration.
